Halloween is a true fashion event and is not one to be missed by us spooky season loving girlie pops! If you're anything like me, the idea of buying a costume out of a plastic sleeve is absolutely appalling. Spending $100+ dollars just to wear the most wrinkly synthetic fabric with seams that rip when you look at them is not it! So, check out my list of Halloween costume ideas (and even some duo/couple ideas) to get inspiration. Scary Carrie White

Scary Carrie!!!! Channel one of the original scream queens with a costume from the Stephen King book and movie, Carrie. For this look, start with a pink, bias cut satin gown. Throw on a sash and crown, and don't forget to add as much fake blood as you like!

Chucky

Try being one of the 'Good Guys' with Chucky! It's the perfect comfortable costume for chilly fall weather while still showing off your classic horror fandom. Start with a striped sweater in primary colors, some denim overalls, and red sneakers. Add a 'Good Guys' patch and some fake scars to really make it stand out.

How about a duo costume? There is no better devoted companion than the Bride of Chucky, Tiffany, played by the incomparable Jennifer Tilly.
